Our Review

Levi Dolson is the handsome front man for an up-and-coming rock band called Reluctant Redemption. He agrees to act as a last-minute groomsman for a college friend’s wedding. The OCD, work-orientated wedding planner captures Levi’s fascination. He signs up for the Wedding Expo just to see Zoe again. When a series of unexplained incidents happens to her, Levi uses them to further his pursuit. Zoe’s friend hires his band for her upcoming wedding reception. Can Levi change Zoe’s cynical stance on relationships? Will he be able to help her find the culprit responsible for her string of bad luck?

Zoe Plum owns and operates an event planner business in San Francisco, California. She sells Pure Pleasures merchandise on the side to supplement her income. Zoe endures the most challenging and disastrous wedding of her career. At the wedding-from-hell, she meets the handsome and charismatic Levi Dolson. Misfortune continues to plague Zoe and threatens to ruin her business. Fate contrives against her by forcing Zoe to work with the gorgeous wannabe rockstar for her best friend’s upcoming wedding. Will Zoe discover who is responsible for sabotaging her business? Can Levi convince her to take a chance on them?

Levi is such a dream! He has become my new book boyfriend. I love his easy and laidback attitude. It makes him so easy to love. Levi likes to roll with whatever comes his way, and he does not allow anything to daunt him. I adore his relentless persistence in pursuing Zoe. Levi refuses to let her cold rebuffs dissuade him from winning her. He uses his earnestness and charm to convince Zoe to finally realize what she truly needs and wants in life. Yet, what I love the most about Levi is how he always appears whenever Zoe needs him the most, despite her many rejections.

Zoe steadily grew on me. She is a confidant, strong-willed, and ambitious woman. I admire Zoe’s business sense, utilizing her OCD tendencies to their best advantages in planning her events. She may be cynical about relationships; however, her feelings do not interfere in her wedding planning. I understand Zoe’s reluctance in letting others close, especially after being stood up at the altar. However, I adore her gumption and determination to take that heartbreaking event and turn it around to keep others from experiencing the same.

A WEDDING TAIL is book three in Casey Griffin’s dachshund-themed contemporary romance series, A RESCUE DOG ROMANCE. Sadly, I have not read the previous two books in the series; however, I plan to correct that ASAP. I adore the dachshund dog breed. I have been wanting to see more of them in books. I love the fact that they co-star in this series.

A WEDDING TAIL is a cute, fun, and engaging story with an extra-added benefit of humor and light mystery. This series has already become a fond favorite. I cannot wait for further releases, and more cute dachshunds.
