Our Review

HEAR NO EVIL by Sue Ward Drake is an intriguing romantic suspense set in the Greek Isles.

Molly Light is divorced and hearing impaired. She faces many challenges in life. A wonderful artist she would like to buy Newpark School of Art, as it is going to be sold. She receives a substantial commission to paint in Greece from the Meta-Hellenic Shipping conglomerate, and the funds would help buy the school.

Stefanos Metadorakis representing his family company, insists on escorting Molly to Greece. Stefanos is also working for the Greek government and suspects Molly of being involved in an espionage scheme.

The author presents Molly’s hearing disability with great insight. I could feel what she must go through on a daily basis. Throw in a foreign country and language, where signing doesn’t always help and being caught up in a spy intrigue and a handsome benefactor and its one heck of a story.

The Greek isles come to life on the pages through the author’s wonderful descriptions of the quaint cafes, villages and the handsome Stefanos.

The romance between the hero and heroine was well-developed and believable. Stefanos is tender and caring of Molly, even when he suspects her of being a spy.

As their trust and love develop the pages heat up. A must read romantic suspense, emphasis on Romance!!!
