I Flipping Love You

Our Review

Playful, painful, sassy, and steamy-hot is the best way I can describe the story and characters in I FLIPPING LOVE YOU by Helena Hunting. Rian (pronounced like “Ryan”) and Pierce unexpectedly meet in a grocery store, and Pierce has a few bones to pick with her. 

Rian has no idea what he’s talking about until her twin, Marley, shows up. Then look out, because all bets are off! Rian and Marley are fiercely independent due to the way they were raised. Pierce and his brother are wealthy and know how to show it.  

The book takes place in the Hamptons on Long Island and in Manhattan. The descriptions are detailed and vivid. I loved the titles for each chapter, especially how the story is told from either Rian or Pierce’s point of view.

The plot had a nice flow, but I sometimes had to look back to see who was talking.  There are a lot of twists and turns to this steamy romance filled with emotion, fun and rich characters, and humor. There is a happily-ever-after and an epilogue which takes place a year later.

I FLIPPING LOVE YOU is the third book in the SHACKING UP series. I haven’t read the first two books, SHACKING UP and HOOKING UP, or the novella, GETTING DOWN, but have added them to my always growing TBR pile. Ms. Hunting is a new-to-me author. I look forward to reading more of her books.
