Welcome Guest Blogger Nancy A. Lindley-Gauthier!!!!

Happy Monday and welcome to March!! We have Nancy A. Lindley-Gauthier to start off the month.

For now here’s a peek at her YA release Perwinkle Way and a little about Nancy as well.

Lindley-Gauthier is the outdoorsy sort, who, hobbit-like, enjoys wandering dark forest paths.  She trail rides her horses not far from New Hampshire’s White Mountains. She has been known to shamelessly cadge rides on sailboats going anywhere at all. Whenever you spot her on the back of a motorcycle, you can be sure handsome hubbie Kent is hauling her to an ice cream stand.

Her first YA ‘Periwinkle Way’ is a short story, available from www.Thewildrosepress.com“As I set out to write, it was the magic of exotic places that filled my mind, and well – Florida may not be exotic to everyone, but to me, it is a dream-world full of sea life.   “Periwinkle Way” owes some measure of its adventure to my own efforts to snorkel, and to a certain crystal bay teeming with wildlife.

Periwinkle Way by Nancy A Lindley Gauthier

When teenager Robyn looks up from snorkeling, she thinks she can see dolphins leaping in the distance. The beach, just off beautiful Captiva Island, offers a palette of golden sun, snowy sands, and serene blue. Her dream vacation; actually her dream vacation would offer a hint of a romance, and likely not include her pain-in-the-butt sister, either. Robyn is good at making the best of things though. A swim across this natural, untamed beach is her one goal, the one plan she held on to through the whole week. Her sister Rue, of course, has already managed to ruin the plan. Or has she? Everything changes when a motorboat chugs up the beach, and a more than averagely cute guy drops anchor beside them

Sounds delightful and I love the colors and the design of the cover. Beach settings are wonderful and I love the beach as the best place ever.

thanks for the comments! I have to admit – all I told the cover designer at TWRP the Periwinkle Way was ‘it should look like a fun beach, with maybe a dolphin’ – I was thrilled with the cover Nicola produced!
I love reading this story, so i hope other people will — and I am working on a long tale, featuring the same sisters.
    Thanks! N

    Hi Nancy,
This book sounds like fun. I love beach settings, added with cute boys and dolphins even better. Congrats on your new release.
