Yes … Lathan so ready to read more about him. I’m kinda bummed about k and c but I’ll keep my fingers crossed they get their person 🙂 I’m a mom to a kid who deals with sensory overload due to aspergers so I appreciate how you handled Zander and his issues with it.

      Hi Angi!

I’m dying for Lathan’s book to get out there into the world. It’s just a week away and yet seems forever to me!

Thanks for being a part of the Book Club!

I loved this book! I can’t wait to read the second one. I wasn’t sure how the romance would tie in to such a dark theme–the heroine is kidnapped and tortured, after all. But Abbie handled it so well! I hate books where the heroine is traumatized then just forgets it all and falls in love. But this book wasn’t like that at all. Isleen (the heroine) had to go through and process her feelings. The love that happens was really natural and just pulled me deeper into the story.

      Hi Marie!

“I hate books where the heroine is traumatized then just forgets it all and falls in love.” Me too! As a mental health counselor it feels so in-authentic to me.

I’m glad you enjoyed the book!
