What a Difference a Duke Makes

Author Lenora Bell has given the reader a lovely story about a young woman, Mari, who has arrived in London with the promise of a job and due to unforeseen circumstances is turned away by the agency and a Duke ( named Edgar) who can’t keep a governess employed for his children. Mari is able to get the Duke to give her a chance at the job of being the children’s governess. Mari has an agenda, the children have their agenda and the Duke is working on creating a steam engine. There’s a lot going on in this story and there’s never a ‘dull moment’. The story is fast paced, fun, exciting, romantic and poignant.
