Our Review
Fussy neighbor indeed! More like ridiculous, hunkalicious sexy man with an insane desire to buy Grace’s beloved grandparents’ beach cottage. Grace and Noah battle it out in Ms. Sullivan’s new novel, HOW TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.
The story stars Grace Travis, a pretty girl and interior design student, who inherits a cozy cottage from her grandparents. She loves its location by the beach and its ties to family, which means a lot to her. Only thing ruining it is the grouchy, dishy neighbor, Noah Jansen, who is harassing her about selling it. The nerve of him!
Noah, a handsome real estate developer, is making a name for himself by purchasing a fixer upper. His father is giving him grief, using his power to upset Noah. But, Noah wants to break away from his dad by striking out on his own. This is his personal project and Noah is determined to put his own stamp on the house. He just wants some extra land to put in a pool, but the obstinate pretty lady next door won’t sell. He hopes he can sway her with his charm. One thing he didn’t count on is his immense attraction to her. She is one beautiful lady!
When a famous magazine wants to photograph Noah’s home makeover there is a stipulation. They want Grace who is an interior designer to work with him on the project. How is he going to get Grace to work with him, when they are constantly bickering? Is this a deal breaker or will they find themselves falling hard for each other?
HOW TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR is a humorous, addictive romantic comedy that has sass, suspense and chemistry. Grace is a talented designer with flair. She moves into a lovely cottage next door to a pushy, arrogant man who secretly makes her heart flutter. Noah is fixing up his house and intends to buy Grace’s place so he can expand. Thus, a battle of the sexes with passionate romance is thrown in. Ms. Sullivan’s story has it all, subplots, quirky characters, love and a few surprises along the way. I loved the blooming romance between Noah and Grace, which didn’t come easy. There are many road blocks and hiccups along the way, especially with family members. All in all, I loved the story! HOW TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR is a rambunctious romp, but tootin’ fun!
