Our Review

Sandu Berdardi is an ancient Carpathian who knows his time is coming to an end. He’s lived a long time without his lifemate and has lost hope that he’ll ever find her. He spends his time trying to protect others like him, but he’s tired and is looking forward to walking into the light and ending his life. However, before he takes that final step, he hears a voice in his head, something that has never happened before, and knows he needs to find out who this person is and why she is contacting him.

With guidance from the special deck of Tarot cards that has been in her family for generations, Adalasia has mentally reached out to Sandu, knowing he’s in danger and that she must help him. She does not know how or why he’s in danger, just that he is and she wants to help keep him safe.  

When Sandu finds Adalasia, he realizes he’s finally found his lifemate. But there’s also great danger, and he knows he will do anything to keep her safe. From the moment they first meet, they’re being threatened, but he doesn’t know who or why and needs to find answers if they are to be safe.

DARK TAROT takes you on a wild journey where unexpected things happen. I really enjoyed catching up with characters from previous books in this series, although this can be read as a stand-alone. Christine Feehan never seems to run out of ideas and adventures for the Carpathians. As a fan, I have enjoyed every one of these books.

If you like paranormal adventures, you will definitely enjoy DARK TAROT. There is action, drama, romance, loyalty, friendship, fantasy… I could go on but would rather you take this journey and discover its treasures on your own.
