Our Review

BECOMING by Michelle Obama is a story about her life from childhood to First Lady to post-White House. Anyone looking for a book about a strong, intelligent, vibrant woman? This is the book for you. I especially enjoyed listening to her career journey, how hard she worked for her legal degree, and then how she gave up a high-paying job for a career that paid far less money, but one that she found fulfilling. 

Throughout the book I felt deep gratitude to her for all she sacrificed in order for her husband to lead this nation. I also found the love story between them real, and while  in many ways, they were very different people, they learned how to love and support each other. There were challenges, but they worked through them and built a secure, loving marriage. 

An excellent book, and I loved listening to it in audio. I recommend this book!!!
