BETWEEN BLOODE AND WOLF by Marie Harte is book 4 of the Between the Shadows series but can be read as a stand-alone.

I don’t read much paranormal/vampire/shifter books, but I love Marie Harte’s contemporary romance so I thought I’d give this a try. I’m glad I did because this book has it all! A missing artifact—check. A lycan war—check. A hot vampire—check, check, check. Added to this, a sorcerer casting illegal death magic made for a real page-turner.

Berserker Riley Foster is sent to search for her pack’s stolen artifact, which is all in a day’s work. But to complicate matters, she’s forced to work alongside a powerful vampire named Kraft. He’s not just any old vampire, he’s a brooding, off-the-charts sexy one.

As Kraft and Riley work to find the missing artifact, they must fight crazed vampires and lycans. Kraft’s admiration for her courage and strength grows. He is also drawn to her beauty, and he’s determined to claim her as his own.

This is a roller coaster ride of fantasy, suspense, and romance that I couldn’t put down. I highly recommend this book.
