Our Review

Dylann Crush drew me in once again to a cowboy romance, this time with bull riders, a family business, and just one more championship to win. But Justin is recovering from an injury, and his dad is pressing him to go back on the circuit. The woman he’s loved for at least ten years (and one of his best friends since second grade,) Emmeline doesn’t want any part of that life and doesn’t know his feelings, or does she?

Part of each chapter in KISS ME NOW, COWBOY, the first book in the Cowboys in Paradise series, is told by Justin or Em, and it really showcases their feelings, thoughts, and beliefs. I like how their two other best friends are woven throughout as well as both Justin and Em’s families. They have major problems communicating with each other, but we also learn they have problems communicating with others in their own families. The story showcases their friendship, and we see it evolve when they vacation on an island off the Texas coast. There are heated as well as heartwarming moments in this story that really satisfy.

The descriptions are vivid, and the story has multiple story lines being woven together with a few unexpected twists and turns. There is wonderful closure with an anticipated happily ever after. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
