Our Review

For fans of the Ghostwalker Series, LETHAL GAME is just as exciting as the other books in this series. I loved it!

Malachai Fortunes is recuperating from injuries he received during a military operation. He severely injured his leg and is trying to recover so he is resting at a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) in San Diego. However, while there, he meets Amaryllis, an employee who makes his senses go on full alert. He believes she might be a Ghostwalker herself.

Amaryllis loves working at the B&B. It is the perfect place to hide. She knows people are looking for her because of her special abilities and just wants to have a quiet, normal life.  However, meeting Malachai changes everything. She knows he was severely injured, so she can’t help but try and use her special abilities to help heal him. She can’t do this under the radar though, and when he re-injures his leg, she has no choice but to let him find out about her secrets in order to save him.

At this point, it is game on! There is a lot of action, adventure, suspense, and ultimately love. This is such a great story, and I found wanting to keep reading until I reached the end. Christine Feehan is a master storyteller. This is the 16th book in this series, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.  What a great read!
