THE MAN WHO DIED TWICE, book 2 of the Thursday Murder Club Mystery by Richard Osman, is a really enjoyable read with a plethora of quirky characters.
Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron, and Ibrahim—members of the Thursday Murder Club—all live at Cooper’s Chase, a posh retirement village in Kent, England.
Elizabeth’s ex-husband arrives, desperate for her help when he’s accused of stealing diamonds worth millions from the wrong men. The Thursday Murder Club goes into action and suddenly bodies start dropping.
There are also two local police officers, Chris and Donna, and Chris is dating Donna’s mother, Patrice. A sweet romance with plenty of laughs and a happily-ever-after at the end. I recommend this fun read!
