THE MARRIAGE HE DEMANDS is the second book in the WESTMORELAND LEGACY: THE OUTLAWS series, but I believe the title is a misnomer since I don’t believe Cash demanded they get married (although Brianna thought he did). They had chemistry before they met, and you’ll have to read the book to see how that happens!

The book was a quick read with a lot of returning characters from Cash’s family and extended family, though this book can easily be read as a standalone. Cash and Brianna meet after his mother, a woman he had no relationship with, dies and he’s called to the reading of the will. What will he do with his inheritance? Since Brianna lives nearby, it could have a major effect on her life and the town.

There’s a nice flow to the story, along with a few twists to keep it interesting. The story takes place in a small town with beautiful descriptions of the land. I liked how well the characters got to know each other in such a short amount of time. Brianna is still mending a broken heart, and Cash seems the perfect person to help her get over that loss.

There’s wonderful closure at the end, along with a happily ever after that had me swooning. Cash definitely sets the bar high when it comes to love. I can’t wait to read more of this series.

Ms. Jackson is a wonderful author, and I can’t wait to delve into more of her stories.
