THE PRESIDENT’S DAUGHTER by Bill Clinton and James Patterson is the second book in the standalone sequel to their 2018 thriller, THE PRESIDENT IS MISSING. Both are standalone suspense/political thrillers.
Every president and every parent’s nightmare is the abduction of a child. Ex-president and ex-navy SEAL, Matt Keating, and his wife, Samantha, are adjusting to life outside of the White House when the unimaginable happens—terrorists abduct their nineteen-year-old daughter, Mel.Â
While the book has a slow start, by chapter three, I couldn’t put it down. I particularly loved the relationship between Matt and Samantha that was touching and felt very real.
I felt there was repetition in many places, which, if cut, would have made for a much faster, enjoyable read. But even so, this was another edge-of-your-seat read that gives you an insider’s view of politics that kept me up late reading.
