THE WEDDING PARTY by Jasmine Guillory is a tender, sweet, thought provoking, funny story. The story revolves around Maddie and Theo who are BFF’s of Alexa. Theo and Alexa work together in the office of the Mayor of the town they live in. Maddie is a style consultant (her own business). As the story opens Maddie and Theo are not fans of each other, Alexa is the only reason they tolerate each other.  As the story evolves Maddie and Theo find themselves getting to know each other as they are an integral part of Alexa’s wedding party. There is just one problem, Maddie and Theo agree that their relationship is to be kept a secret from Alexa as they feel it won’t last much past Alexa’s wedding. The story concludes with Alexa’s wedding and with a little help from Alexa the resolution to Maddie and Theo’s relationship.
