This is the final book in the Blink, Texas trilogy. THE WOMAN TRAPPED IN THE DARK begins when Abby Rhodes and Jordan Gatewood (first introduced in the book SEDUCING ABBY RHODES) are now settling down into married life. Note: you do not have to read the first two books in the trilogy to understand this one, but it helps enrich the story arc if you have.

It has been a difficult journey to get to this point. Abby is the girl next door while Jordan is a self-made millionaire who has made many enemies over the years. Unfortunately, his enemies will do anything to take him down, including kidnapping his beloved wife.

Abby is a strong woman who believes she probably won’t survive what is happening to her, but she’s not going down without a fight. She’ll do whatever is necessary to survive and prays Jordan will find and rescue her.  

I won’t go into any more detail because I want everyone else to enjoy this roller coaster ride of romantic fiction as much as I did. I read it straight through! I had to know if Abby would be rescued and if Jordan would find and punish those responsible for her kidnapping. J. D. Mason did an excellent job of capturing my attention quickly. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, this is the book for you.
