Someone is targeting Secret Service Agents, and FBI Agent Faith Malone is assigned to figure out what is going on and to keep other agents from being murdered. She is working alongside Secret Service Special Agent Luke Powell, who has lost some of his friends to this unknown killer.
The Secret Service and FBI do not always play well together, but Faith and Luke know they need to figure out what’s going on and who’s responsible before any more agents are lost. Sometimes, looking at a picture from different perspectives allows for a more complete picture.
This book is action-packed and full of suspense. Faith and Luke are great characters you can’t help but cheer for. Will they solve the murders? Will they figure out who is responsible and why? Can they keep each other safe as they get deeper and deeper into the investigation, or will they end up both being casualties?
Lynn Blackburn does her research and creates suspenseful situations you can’t help but get drawn into. I was so immersed into UNKNOWN THREAT I couldn’t put the book down until I reached the end. A great read!
