VERY SINCERELY YOURS is a juicy rom-com at its best! The story stars a cute girl, Teddy Phillips, who works in a vintage toy shop and has no dream aspirations. She might be going on thirty but hey, it’s a job. Plus, her life is in the doldrums after her boyfriend unexpectedly asks her to leave. She gave many years of her life picking up after him and feeding his royal highness and he ditches her. Now she has insecurities. What the heck?

She does have family and Everett’s Place, a local children’s show that she loves to watch that helps her cope. Everett St. James is so comforting, smart and extremely handsome. He has a segment where he reads children’s letters and Teddy sucks up the courage to email him. He always gives the best advise to kids, so maybe he will know the right thing to say to her too. She puts her forlorn thoughts in a note and sends it. Imagine her surprise when she receives an answer back from Everett!

Everett, a compassionate chap with charm in spades, has no problem getting the ladies. Plus, he has a great family, many friends and coworkers who rally around him. Everett has a dream job on television that he’s worked hard for, but he feels like some elusive spark is missing. What that is, he doesn’t know. Then a lady starts emailing him, Theodora, and his world starts to hum a different tune. Her insightful emails thrill him and his days get brighter, thinking about his new lady friend. He proposes a meet up with Theodora but things go awry. Will they ever meet?

VERY SINCERELY YOURS is a must read for all romance fans! I absolutely loved this story which closely resembles the movie, You’ve Got Mail. A girl named Teddy is given the heave ho by her boyfriend and she then writes to a television host named Everett St. James. What ensues is a romantic email adventure and mishap after misadventure. Will they or won’t they is the general theme as Teddy and Everett navigate the romance scene by email and try to meet in real life. This story is so fun and full of warm fuzzies! I absolutely adored it and didn’t want it to end. Everett is a real genuine guy and Teddy is sparkly and smart. From all the quirky characters, humorous banter, many mishaps, and more, it is quite possibly one of my favorite stories this year! Funny and very wise, VERY SINCERELY YOURS made my heart go pitter-patter!
