WHACK THE MOLE was so much fun to read. Lucy McGuffin makes the best cupcakes in Whispering Bay. She also has a unique ability that lets her know when someone is lying to her. This results in her getting in trouble by wanting to know why they were lying. Her curiosity knows no bounds. Now she has stumbled over a dead body, which has her meddling in the middle of a murder investigation. 

This character as well as all the other characters in Whispering Bay are delightful. Lucy makes you laugh while driving you crazy at the same time. With the help of her ghost seeing dog, it doesn’t take long for her to get into more trouble than you can believe. 

If you want a mystery that also is full of fun, WHACK THE MOLE, as well as Book 1 in the Whispering Bay Series by Maria Geraci, will entertain you by trying to solve a good old fashioned whodunit while making you laugh out loud at the same time.
