The second book in the series about The Carsons of Mustang Creek, ALWAYS A COWBOY, is the compelling story of how a non-traditional California girl breaks through the tough-as-leather facade of a very eligible Wyoming bachelor. Lucinda (Luce) Hale, is invited to stay with the prominent Carson Family while she studies the wild horses currently irritating middle son and rancher, Drake Carson.
The sparks fly almost instantaneously between Luce and Drake, against the backdrop of the beautiful Wyoming countryside. Both of them have their own misgivings, but their undeniable attraction, chemistry, and respect for the animals they mutually appreciate leads them to their fate.
