Our Review

THE LEGACY OF PARKERS POINT is the first novella of a new series, THE STARLIGHT GRILLE SERIES.

“Two lives, one legacy—the lure of Parkers Point”

Lauralee Adler returns to the small coastal town of Serenity Harbor, Maine, to take over Ocean’s End Gallery, from her aunt who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Her aunt raised Lauralee. She never knew who her father was.

Her personal quest is to find out the name of her father, and meet him. She’s never felt like she belonged anywhere. Her mother’s family all rejected her as she was born out of wedlock.

She’s not looking for a romantic relationship, but finds it hard to resist the handsome owner of the Starlight Grille.

Wealthy Grayson Mann inherits his grandfather’s estate on rocky point in Serenity Harbor.  He leaves New York City for the easier life in the tiny town of Serenity Harbor. He conceals professional and personal wounds from his former life in N.Y. Life gets a lot more interesting when the new manager/owner of Ocean’s End Gallery turns out to by a hot looking redhead.

The secondary characters are well written and  the next book in the series is about the piano player, Luke, at the Starlight Grille. COME DANCE WITH ME is due for release in October.

The author depicts life in a small town with memorable characters and descriptive scenery. Lauralee and Grayson are two beautiful people inside and out. Their chemistry heats up the pages.

The romance between Lauralee and Grayson was a wonderful way to establish this new series. THE LEGACY OF PARKERS POINT is the first book in THE STARLIGHT GRILLE series. This was a feel good story, full of love and romance and hope. There was no game playing, no lies, manipulation or underhanded deceit to win affection. It was just two strong people finding love, learning to trust, and trying to make it work.
