Our Review

Hannah Parker has spent seven days in a coma after a terrible accident in her friend’s car. After ending up in the hospital, Hannah remembers nothing of her night nor of her being pregnant with Brannon McKay’s baby. Of course, no one knew of her pregnancy until the doctor at the hospital told them. Hannah has a crush on Brannon that stems from her adolescence. The only person she does remember is Brannon and no one else.

Brannon went away to college and never thought about Hannah. After his parents die in an accident, Brannon comes home to help his sisters. Brannon had a crush on Hannah for years, but he knew she was too young for him.

McKay’s Treasure, Louisiana, is the town that Brannon’s ancestors founded after moving to America from Scotland. Most of the town still belongs to the McKay family. Brannon is trying to keep all the businesses open that he can in order to save the town.

As Hannah’s memory starts returning, she realizes that Brannon has been telling her lies to keep her by his side. She decides she wants to break off their relationship. Then, the person who was stalking Hannah and destroying her property realizes it is time to end her life as well. As things get more dangerous and the story progresses, it will keep you turning the pages to see what will happen next.

Shiloh Walker knows how to draw you into her stories and keep them hot and sexy until the very end. I suggest her books to suspense lovers and will be waiting for the next book in THE MCKAYS series to come out.
