THE WAY BACK TO YOU is the ninth book in the BLESSINGS, GEORGIA series, and I hope there will be more. Although I haven’t read the whole series yet, only having read four of them including this title, there was enough information given to make it easy to follow along. The small town romance has moments of darkness and light, and the town definitely takes care of its own.

Melissa and Sully meet unexpectedly when he rescues her after a collision where her car caught fire. Little do they know how that act of kindness will change their lives. I love how the history of the characters is brought into the story. They have dimension and feel real.

Granny’s Country Kitchen in town is the place to be for all things gossip and is owned by Lovey, who has a major role in the story (both past and present). The story shows us the heart of Blessings, Georgia. The scenic descriptions of the town, as well as the food and that always present sweet tea, made me feel like I was there.

THE WAY BACK TO YOU is full of family and friends. A hint of magic is in the air, and the building romance really works. What a terrific romance to read to kick off the new year.
