My favorite holiday tradition is making Danish with my mom thanksgiving and Christmas morning then watching the parades together
My family isn’t huge on traditions for any holiday. About the most consistent tradition for me is attending Christmas Eve candlelight services and then going to my parent’s house on Christmas Day.
We have celebrated Christmas Eve in our home for over 40 years. Everyone welcome for food, gifts and shared love. This was to celebrate 2 birthdays. My husband was the 24th and my Mom’s was the 25th. We always had stockings on the mantel for the children and at times the adults too. Good memories.

I grew up not celebrating the holidays but as an adult I started to. For thanksgiving I usually sit on my couch lol but for Christmas I host my sister, her husband, his parents and her friends. I love having the biggest house to be able to do this ❤️

I love, in the lead up to Christmas, all of the holiday baking. My family has cookie making parties every year. Yum!
The 4th of July is my favorite as it is my great-nephews birthday. We all get together for a big birthday cookout
My favorite tradition is to eat sauerkraut balls on New Years Day.
My favorite is breakfast that my mom makes on Christmas morning and opening our stockings together.
