Fantasy Escape by Savanna Kougar
Reading for me has always been about what I could learn and what I could experience through the author’s written word ~ and that glorious, euphoric escape into worlds painted by the author’s unique talent, from all realms of fantasy to our globes’ eclectic range of cultures. I enjoyed travel for the same reasons I adored reading, being in the midst of another culture, seeing and experiencing that world, if only for awhile.
While reading, I lived the adventure. The romance. The exciting escape into another world. From the simple fantastical Cat in the Hat as a child to Louis L’amore westerns, to horse stories like The Black Stallion by Walter Farley, to Tom Sawyer, to the very first romance books I ever read, the sweet Regencies.
Whether realistic, an exotic love story set in India, or a complete fantasy, Star Wars ~ the fun, the thrill is in the escape and experiencing the love story itself. It matters not if you imagine yourself as the heroine, or simply allow your heart to sigh and beat in rhythm with the happily-ever-after ending.
Okay, I admit it, I’ve always loved romance, loved love. With my very thick rose-colored glasses on. Not very practical for this world, yet, romance became every beat of my heart, once I was old enough. And fantasy worlds became where my mind lived, the endless possibilities limited only by the new culture created in a story or in a movie. And being a writer…well, what else would I write? But my own fantasy world. The escape toward love. Beware, however, being a huge believer in the art of sexuality, that there is truly an art to making love ~ from a sweet chaste kiss to a fierce erotic adventure ~ the bedroom doors are off their proverbial hinges in my e-book release, All Shades of Blue Paradise from Siren Publishing, which recently earned a 5-Star review from ReviewYourBooks.com.

Rob, it would be nice if you advertised in an appropriate spot. Instead of my blog which has nothing to do with your product.
Hi Lexie, I absolutely read and loved The Island Stallion! Too cool that you remember those books too. Yep, it’s a brave new world out here in romance author land.
Thanks for stopping by.
Dear Savanna,
I’m here! I am getting overwhelmed at how many writers there are out there. And how many blogs! I also think it’s cool that you mentioned my childhood faves as some of your own. Did you ever read The Island Stallion? I guess I started fantasy early.
Lexie
Hi Jeanne, I do. Thanks for stopping by!

You know how much I love Fantasy! ;~D
It’s just so neat to see my first contracted e-novel up on the Romance Junkies blog. Thanks all!
