A MRS. MIRACLE CHRISTMAS is another wonderful Christmas story with Mrs. Miracle, and it was a treat that the angels—Shirley, Mercy, and Goodness—make an appearance too. This is a trademark Ms. Macomber story with lots of heartache, good feelings, and an abundance of love and family all set at Christmas.
The story flowed nicely with some tears and laughter. I liked the characters of Laurel and Zach, Laurel’s grandmother, Helen, and Helen’s caretaker—who else but Mrs. Miracle! The story is filled with Christmas traditions and memories, as well as an emotional journey (and miracle, maybe?) for Laurel and Zach.
I loved the cover of the book, which is such a warm and inviting one with Christmas cheer and lots of little touches.
Ms. Macomber is a favorite go-to author. I love her books, whether set at Christmas, in Alaska, or in the northwest. They are always filled with family, friends, and love. Give her books a try if you haven’t already. You’ll be glad you did!
