Our Review

CRAZY ABOUT A COWBOY is the third book in the TYING THE KNOT IN TEXAS series, and I hope there will be many more books since Jasper has brothers who need to find love as well. There are lots of Taylors, and Jasper is hoping to save his family’s pecan farm by reluctantly helping Ido, Texas, get named the most romantic small town in Texas. His idea is to transform his family’s main barn into a wedding venue to hold weddings and other large events. He’s been named by the mayor to be the hospitality host and has to squire Delilah, Miss Lovin’ Texas and the contest judge, to different events, which means spending lots of time with her. That can’t be good for a cowboy not good at romance.

There is a nice pace to the story with beautiful descriptions that made me feel like I was there. Jasper and Delilah are multidimensional characters with wonderful moments of humor and romance. There are some laugh-out-loud moments in this book, along with some drama and sadness. The rich secondary characters really make this book, with family and friends being a large part of the story. The small town of Ido is a perfect backdrop for all that is going on. The happily ever after really satisfies, though I liked the book so much I would have liked more! I hope to return to Ido, Texas, and see how the town and its inhabitants fare.

I’ve read this series and two of the three books in Ms. Crush’s Holiday, Texas series. I’m a sucker for cowboy stories, and she makes her cowboys come alive! I definitely have added more of her books to my TBR pile and can’t wait to dig in.
