Our Review

I just finished DESIRE ACTUALLY by Jennifer Skully. This is the first book in her After Office Hours series and what a fun read! The main characters, Grady Masterson and Jordana Davis, just sizzled off the pages.

As the book opens, Grady receives an email from his wife telling him she wants a divorce and that he’s too vanilla in the bedroom. He’s in shock, believing they had a loving, happy marriage. He’s desperate and will do anything to save his marriage, including convincing his colleague Jordana to tutor him in what women want.

As Jordana teaches him the fine art of sexting and phone sex, things start to heat up, but all the while Jordana believes Grady is still in love with his wife. But as Grady spends more time with Jordana, he finds it’s Jordana he wants, not his wife.  

Grady plans a trip with Jordana to Oregon. I especially loved this scene since I’ve been to the areas described in the book and love the area.  I also loved how Jordana taught Grady to be a sensitive lover by giving him chick flicks to watch and then and how Grady became the man she’d always dreamed of finding. Can’t wait to read book two!
