NEVER RESCUE A ROGUE is the second book in the Merriwell Sisters series, and I can’t wait for the youngest sister’s story and to be able to reunite with the sisters and their loves.

Giles and Diana have nothing in common—she’s a commoner and he’s a duke’s son— and are only thrown together since her sister is married to his best friend. They butt heads continually due to an attraction neither will acknowledge yet seem to give support and balance to each other. They both have secrets they’re keeping but confide in each other without thought. When events and actions come back to haunt them, they stand by each other and their attraction—that they continually fight—and make a fearsome duo.

It was nice reconnecting with characters we’ve met in NEVER FALL FOR YOUR FIANCEE to see what they’re up to now. The book has many different stories being tied together with a lot of twists and turns. I like the alliteration sprinkled throughout as well as learning Giles family’s history and how all the male names start with G!

There are vivid descriptions along with richly fleshed-out secondary characters. I love the playfulness and colors of the cover, though I wish the story hadn’t ended so abruptly. Still, NEVER RESCUE A ROGUE is a thoroughly enjoyable book historical romance readers will love!
