Our Review

Julia Jensen Harding-Taylor, a society babe, is all set to marry a wonderful guy, but there is a glitch. Married previously to another man, she finds out her divorce was never finalized. Just great! She confronts her ex-husband Nate at his dilapidated houseboat, only to be shot at and dunked in a swamp. Yikes!

Intense intrigue, rapid-fire suspense, cagey characters with a Pinocchio syndrome and a scorching romance combine in this dastardly delicious novel called THE ASSASSIN’S KISS. Enter the world of assassins and top-secret information starring Julia, a beautiful, brassy bride-to-be, and Nate, an enigmatic, trained killer. They were once married but now are divorced. Julia is furious with Nate after his indiscretion on their wedding night and Nate is stubbornness personified. Julia, disillusioned, thought they were so finished but Nate never signed the annulment papers. However, the two ex-lovers are nearly killed when shot at by assassins. Inescapably, they are thrown together in a deadly cat-and-mouse game. While navigating Florida’s back roads and Nate’s hometown to hide from the assassins, their attraction bubbles over. They can’t seem to keep their hands off each other and Julia is engaged to another man! This is a real quagmire! Will their emotional baggage tear them apart? Or will their secrets and enigmatic lives be their undoing? I rooted for their rocketing romance all the way! THE ASSASSIN’S KISS is heady, passionate and riveting. A suspenseful gem!
