Our Review

Five Hearts for THE BILLIONAIRE IN BOOTS, by Julia London! It’s the third book in the Princes of Texas series. This is definitely a stand-alone book and a second-chance love story.

When Nick Prince’s father dies, Nick gives up on his dream of going to flight school and becoming an airline pilot, something his father approved of. Instead of seeing the world, he answers a call to duty and takes over running the family cattle ranch. There, he works on cleaning up the financial mess left by his father. Nick loves the ranch, he just doesn’t want to be the one to run it. He’d rather travel to far off places and see the world. On top of all that, the man running a cattle ranch is a vegetarian!

Charlotte Bailey is the office manager who worked for Nick’s father (for ten years) and then for Nick. I loved the flirty emails and banner between them even though their offices were only twenty feet apart. Charlotte dreams of love, a home with a white picket fence, and children. In cowboy terms, she wants a man who will ride all night just to get to her. She feels her biological clock is ticking.

The spark burns bright between Nick and Charlotte. Plenty of hot love scenes when they finally get together. But Charlotte is obsessed with having a family, and Nick is desperate to fly and see the world. And neither is willing to compromise.

What a great story! I loved Nick and Charlotte. THE BILLIONAIRE IN BOOTS is a fast paced story with a lot of funny moments and an engaging romance! I highly recommend THE BILLIONAIRE IN BOOTS by Julia London
