Our Review

TWO SUITORS FOR ANNA is a wonderful continuation of the KEEPSAKE POCKET QUILT SERIES. Many of the characters we’ve met in the first two books are back again, as are several of the businesses. The small town of Berlin, Ohio, is filled with both the Amish and Englischers, and for the most part they get along.

Anna has a dilemma when she is disheartened with Noah’s treatment of her. He doesn’t take her work seriously and doesn’t like how she arranges items in her shop. He’s always giving her “constructive” criticism and has a wish for adventure and only wants one baby to raise. This fills Anna with anguish since she’s unsure they should marry even though she still loves him…or does she? When he decides moving to Lancaster is in their best interest, and she doesn’t fall in line, he goes anyway. Where does that leave them? As Anna moves on with her life and finds happiness, contentment, and a new love, Noah once again enters the picture and upsets her life all over again. Watching Anna work through her anxieties is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming.

The story is filled with family and friends, the church and a bevy of emotional ups and downs. There are many stories told that are woven together naturally and fit together perfectly. There is wonderful closure and a happily-ever-after. I look forward to reading more books by Jebber and hope that there will be others in this series since there are more stories to tell.

A RECOMMENDED READ!
