Our Review

Constantine, the Dragon King of the Dragon Kings, and his Fae mate, Rhiannon want to host a holiday celebration. The Dragon Kings and their mates have finally achieved a moment of peace. They now must decide whether to reunite with their dragon clans on the other world. New concerns rise to the forefront. Will these worries ruin the party’s festivities?

I adore how Rhiannon and Constantine decide to have a party for their brethren’s sake. After all the trouble and problems they have endured, it is nice for them to kick loose and enjoy the moment. What I like the most is how Rhiannon honors all the holidays in December and not just Christmas.

WHISKY AND WISHES is book nineteen of Donna Grant’s paranormal romance series, A DARK KINGS. This short story picks up immediately after book eighteen, INFERNO. It is a nice ending for one series and a promising prelude for the upcoming spinoff. The only nitpick I have is that I wish the other Dragon Kings and their mates played a larger role in the story. I know it would be impossible since this story is so short.

WHISKY AND WISHES is a heartwarming holiday novella. It does a beautiful job of setting the tone for the upcoming series. I cannot wait for the spinoff!
