I bought tickets for my mom, my sister, and myself to go see the ballet and a nice dinner.

I like to give tickets to events rather than things. I think my favorite was a gift to my sister and brother-in-law… tickets to see Jeff Dunham.

Both my sister and my sister in-law have had their eldest children a few weeks before Christmas – albeit 20 years apart. Like so many other ladies who have posted, I gave the gift of time and since it was so close to Christmas, became an all around errand girl: shopper, baker, gift wrapper, etc.. In my sister’s case, I also kept the secret from our parent that her now ex-husband disappeared for 3 of those weeks. Something that was more important to her at the time than the help.

The best gift I gave was to my mom when she was I’ll was my Time. She was in a Nursing home, I’d go every day after work and spend a couple of hours with her.

The best gift I ever gave was a basket full of MY favorite things to my best friend! 🙂

I gave hand knit sweaters, afghans, hats & scarves to my family every year for Christmas. Now I have arthritis in both hands & can no longer knit.

  8. Susan Bennett

I gave my mom my time. Spending uninterrupted time with her while she was sick. She appreciated it more than if I bought her something.

  9. Monique Rivers

Best gift I ever gave would be one year to Disney+. This was for my children father
